First and foremost, let me say that I am a prior customer of GPSnow.com. Not only is the service top notch, but shipping is very quick and they honestly have the best prices around. That's why I came back to them for my Garmin Nuvi 785T.
In the past, I have owned the Garmin StreetPilot i5, Nuvi 360, and Nuvi 760. Now I have the Nuvi 785T. Each incremental upgrade has been even better than the last, and the Nuvi 785T is no exception!
Not only is the Nuvi 785T more feature packed for the money, but it now has a more durable chassis, very easy to use, map refreshes are much quicker than ever before not to mention it now displays in true 3D with the Lane Assist feature, the MSN Direct service is an awesome source of onboard information, and the navigation experience is A+ grade.
I have tried out other competitors GPS systems like TomTom and have had nothing but problems with them. With Garmin, you get a GPS made with great quality control and workmanship and everything functions as it should. Getting from Point A to Point B is now even easier than ever with the best you can get and trust by a distinguised brand like Garmin. Thank you Garmin and thank you GPSnow.com! |

This is my first Garmin. I have seen and used others but this is the first I have owned. First off, it is really easy and intuitive. I love that I could get right to it. Secondly, its size is better than others. The screen is an excellent size while the thickness of the unit is minimal. I LOVE IT. |

I like my garmin 785t. I also have a magellin I had a nuvi 660. I traded up to the 785t because of the fetures. The thing that I dont like is that it did not come with a carring case and a few other things that were included with the 660. Over all I like it better than the others on the market. |

I am brand new at using a GPS, and I LOVE the 785T. It is the easiest thing I've ever used or set up. I do not do well with instruction manuals, so I don't use them. I had my 785T set up with no "instructions" in minutes. It is SO user friendly! I paired my cell phone to work with it in 5 minutes (and I've never used any Bluetooth item before). It has a feature that lets you set up "categories" in your favorites which is great for me because I have an ill mother who gets rushed to various hospitals. I saved the hospitals in that she usually gets sent to because I get so nervous that I forget how to get there when I'm rushing to the ER. I got there perfectly as I listened to the voice tell me what to do in my panic. The 785T is very fast in picking up satellites and calculating routes -- much faster than the 770 my friend owns.
I was ready to purchase the nuvi 770 but then read about the 765T on the Garmin website. I was really excited to see that the 765T, 775T, and 785T have "lane assist," so I waited for them to come out in October. The only differences between the 765T and the 785T is that the MSN Direct receiver is included with the 785T and you also get 3 months free MSN Direct service. I highly recommend! Also, GPSnow.com was SO FAST in shipping it to me, and they are also a "Garmin Authorized Dealer" which was very important to me in purchasing this type of product.
