| FANTASTIC handheld GPS! (5/5) | Aug 20, 2008 | Dr. Dean Neary | Bothell Washington US | |

All of the features of the other Garmin "greats" (GPSMAP60CSx, Colorado, etc), in a bit smaller package with a very convenient touch screen, very intuitive operation with many great features. I prefer the 300 with addition of a microSD card to load maps etc that I want/need vs the preloaded models. Screen is large enough with quite good resolution. Construction appears to be very solid as well. Anxious to take it on upcoming week long big game hunt as well as do a little geocaching. I am planning on loading City Navigator and using it in my vehicle along with the car kit. Would highly recommend to folks looking for an "all-in-one" handheld GPS unit! This is my first purchase from GPSNOW.com and I must say that the exceeded my expectation! I have already placed another order with GPSNOW.com and plan to do more in the future. They had what they said they had IN STOCK and shipped as promised. My only "complaint" would be with regards to using FedEx as delivery method... not very impressed with FedEx (tend to not deliver as scheduled) HIGHLY RECOMMED BOTH the Garmin Oregon 300, and GPSNOW.com! |

| Oregon 300 (5/5) | Aug 21, 2008 | Tim Posthuma | Rochester IN US | |
| This is an awesome unit! The touch screen makes navigation a breeze! I’ve upgraded from my trusty Map60 and it never fails I’m always forgetting how to find a feature! Not with the Oregon! The large Icons have all the features readily available. Another great feature is the ability to download GPX files from geocaching.com. All the information about the cache transfers without any addition software required. I also like the Carabiner clip that ships with the unit! I’m looking forward to finding may Caches with the Oregon 300 leading the way! | ||||
| Great GPS! Love the interface (5/5) | Aug 21, 2008 | Brian Woods | South Bend IN US | |

After much debate between the Colorado and the Oregon, I went with the Oregon. I'm loving the interface. It is so easy to use and data entry is a breeze. I can't imagine moving through menus & options with any interface but a touch screen. Accuracy seems good. Solid, well built unit. Love the carabiner clip. Good GPS unit. I looked all over the net and none of the "big electronics stores" had the Oregon 300 in stock. All said either "coming soon", "backordered" or just flat out wasn't listed. I found GPSNow.com through a review blog on the Oregon and they had it in stock. I ordered, they shipped next day and now I have time to learn and enjoy my new Oregon 300 before my trip to the Rocky Mountains!!! Good job GPSNow! |
