Actually I would rate this at at least 4.5 stars. Perhaps I should have done more homework. I am dissapointed that you can not input a route of your own for a trip. You have to rely on the Nuvi choice. I realize you can deviate from the provided route and the GPS will recalculate. My Garmin etrex Vista allows you to input a complete trip, but only tracks your progress and it could care less if you deviate and it only calculates distance as the crow flies. I am looking forward to being lost one day and asking my new Nuvi 660 for help and directions. Other than this, it appears to be a great product and one that will accompany me where ever I go. Very pleased with GPSNow; amazed at how fast it got here. |

| Absolutly LOVE It.... (5/5) | Sep 20, 2007 | RJ Eihausen | Phoenix AZ US | |

Yes I absolutly love it. Actually like the mobility of this device and the easy to use functions. I'm a REALTOR so it has been a tremenous help in locating property when it is important to give your clients your undivided attention. Recently used on a vacation to San Francisco and boy was it a big help in locating restarants and shopping. Can't wait to use it in NY later this year. Most of all I bought it here on GPSNow.com and it was great to get it the next day. What service. |

I've driven from Texas to Indiana to Virginia to New York with this Nuvi - and it is a God Send. I literally took it out of the store, mounted it on my dash in the parking lot and was on my way navigating around town. The interface is incredibly simple - although it took me a minute to realize all of the Points of Interest (gas, food, lodging) are tucked under the "Where To" area under Food, Lodging. That's not a complaint though, I just refused to open the manual. The voice directions are useful in town, but out on the highway, I often miss them because I'm listening to my stereo; making a wrong turn can actually be fun now since you know you won't get lost - you just have to listen to the Nuvi say "Recalculating" around 5 times...fair punishment for not following the ridiculously simple directions it gives. After owning the Nuvi for a while, I've taken the paper maps out of my truck. Even in small rural towns, maps are available on the Nuvi. Bluetooth is great, my phone book loaded right up on the screen allowing me to call straight from the unit by scrolling through my contacts. Traffic and construction updates posted around Indianapolis and the unit even re-routed me around construction traffic. I'm not crazy about paying $60.00 a year for traffic updates on the FM receiver though - I plan to keep skipping that one. The only problems I've had with the Nuvi are with the dashmount - it's a little tricky to get it off when you want to stow it; I've dropped the unit a few times already. I highly recommend the unit to anyone. Although it's a little pricey, it is definitely worth the difference in cost over other units that are not as complete and reliable. I love my Nuvi. |

| Great Little Unit! (5/5) | Nov 4, 2006 | Ted Yang | Chicago IL US | |

This is definitely the nicest looking unit out there with a nice big screen. For the price you can't beat the form factor. Usability was great with a very easy to figure out interface. FM transmitter worked great and I love the included mp3 player. Really makes the unit fully functional. Mapping/route finding was excellent - the unit even found some back alleys in my own neighborhood! Also included traffic is pretty cool but not as useful as it might be. The biggest issue with the unit was that it is a bit slow to pick up reception. Not sure if all units in my area have this problem and I will try this in different parts of the country soon and see if it works better. Overall if you are looking for a higher end unit with more functionality but not full blown 1k+ you can't go wrong. |

| BEST on the market (5/5) | Feb 16, 2007 | Tom Van D. | Peoria AZ US | |
| This GPS is the BEST on the market now! It's awesome. The purchase was made at 4X4 books. Excellent on line company. Great service. One problem I had was the FM radio reception. I think they fixed that with their latest upgrade. The screen is large enough to where you can easily see it, even in the back seat. Very user friendly, and connects to satellites quickly w/o an antenna. AAAAA++++ Garmin!!! You guys are number one!!! I would recommend this unit to all!! EXCELLENT! | ||||
