| Very good GPSr (4/5) | Apr 9, 2008 | Thomas Geiger | Washington Crossing Pennsylvania US | |

I upgraded from a Garmin eTrex Legend Cx. This unit locks onto the satellites much quicker and (based on the unit's display) gives more accurate location. I use this unit for road navigation and geocaching and it has worked very well for both. The only drawback that I see is the brightness of the display. Even with the brightness turned all the way up, the display is just a bit dim. The Legend Cx had a much brighter display, which is sometimes needed in bright sunlight. |

| Incredible reception and lightning lock! (4/5) | Sep 27, 2007 | Gil Meacham | Spokane Washington US | |
| I am very happy with my new 60CSx. I am amazed how quickly it locks on satellites and stays locked in difficult reception areas. I've used my trusty Garmin GPS II Plus for 10 years, and it has served me well. Some of the accessories (12v Power cord and remote antenna) from the old Garmin still work with the new one. I doubt if I'll be using the remote antenna, though. The 60CSx locks well just sitting in the dash mount. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the mapping software, both bundled and purchased, is not up to the value of some competitors. | ||||
| Excellent GPS (4/5) | Sep 6, 2007 | Steven Leifer | East Greenbush NY US | |

The 60csx with the City Nav and the Topo got me from NY to Colorado and back. I was within one foot of a geocache in Creede. Never lost a signal in the Rocky Mtn Park. My only complaint is that when it calculated the quickest route from one town to another, it had me go onto a gravel road that was only suited to a 4x4 Jeep. And there was NO sign on that road telling me that! Otherwise, this is a very handy device. |
