We went through a long evaluation of all the available GPS systems for our use in the car, as well as for walking around once we get to our destinations. Garmin rated the best among all the manufacturers, and their 275T seemed to have all the features we needed, without extra bells and whistles that cost more but that we'd seldom use. Well, it came in right away via FedEx (great service!) - it's everything we thought it'd be, and more. All the functions are super easy to use (at least the ones we've tried so far - there's a lot to try out on this unit). Great graphics, fast response, and a charming computer voice giving us directions (and here I always thought that only Captain Picard had a computer that talked to him in a real world, practical sort of way). The included maps of Europe are extremely user-friendly, and they're going to be very, very helpful on our upcoming trip over there to visit family. The Garmin 275T is by far the best value available, whether this is your first GPS or if you're looking for more up-to-date maps and features. I would recommend it highly (and GPSNOW.com is a great dealer - good prices and super service)! |
