After much debate between the Colorado and the Oregon, I went with the Oregon. I'm loving the interface. It is so easy to use and data entry is a breeze. I can't imagine moving through menus & options with any interface but a touch screen. Accuracy seems good. Solid, well built unit. Love the carabiner clip. Good GPS unit.
I looked all over the net and none of the "big electronics stores" had the Oregon 300 in stock. All said either "coming soon", "backordered" or just flat out wasn't listed. I found GPSNow.com through a review blog on the Oregon and they had it in stock. I ordered, they shipped next day and now I have time to learn and enjoy my new Oregon 300 before my trip to the Rocky Mountains!!! Good job GPSNow! |
