I have owned a GPSMAP 60CSx for about one year and love it. Once you figure out everything you can do with this gps, you will be impressed, and perhaps in awe (trail and auto). Micro flash cards are cheap and I have three 2GBs: one for Western USA, one for Central USA and one for much of the Eastern USA. I have City Navigator 2008 and US Topo 2008 loaded on these micro flash cards. The flash cards work great and have about 1 GB of room left for other information (POIs, etc).
I have been seriously looking at the Garmin Seven Series Nuvi but have a hard time justifying one for the main advantage of a larger screen. Three issues which I consider HUGE about the NUVIs: 1) cannot sort through Favorites alphanumerically, 2) no warning “ding” chime when approaching a turn, and 3) less sensitive because the new Seven Series Nuvi’s have no external antennae. The 60CSx unit can gather 5 to 8 satellites from inside my office. I never loose a satellite outside or while traveling (even tunnels are not an issues because it relocates quickly once out of the tunnel). It attaches to a bean-bag auto mount … which is perfect. A Great GPS.
