I'm a total newbie to handheld units and GPS, and Geocaching, but I decided to buy the Cadillac, and I have NO regrets! I updated my software to 2.40 right away, and calibrated my compass, and voila, PERFECTION. My lithium AA batteries are giving me about 15 hours so far and counting. I'm not seeing any problems AT ALL. The screen could be brighter though, so this would be my one knock, but it's not bad, and it is beautiful. Going to get the Neoprene hard case right away.
I can tell I'm really going to love this thing. Already downloaded 5 geocaches to explore near my home. Can't wait to try it with my children. Thank You GPSNOW and GARMIN ! |
