This easy-to-use unit is loaded with the high-end navigation features from Garmin's most popular GPS navigators, and best of all, it's portable. Smaller than a standard television remote, it won’t demand a lot of room on the dashboard or in the briefcase. The unique antenna folds flush with the unit when not in use and users can connect an optional external antenna as well.

Detail includes terrain contours, routable trails, summit elevations and peaks and vertical profiles of trails and routes.

MapSource™ products provide high level detail of roads, recreational areas, coastlines, navaids, lakes, boat ramps, topography and more. A USB PC Interface cable is enclosed with each Quest to allow you to download MapSource™ Data between your PC and Quest. MapSource™ software also allows you to view color maps on a personal computer, with zoom and pan functions for easy map browsing. Users can then select individual maps in areas of interest and transfer the maps to the Quest or other compatible GPS.

Think of MapSource™ as an atlas that contains many smaller maps. By choosing several of these maps, you can make a map set. This map set can then be transferred to your GARMIN GPS, which allows you to tailor the map detail for the geographic areas you wish to view. For instance, if you are planning a trip by car, your map set might only need to include those maps that are along your intended driving route. MapSource gives you the flexibility to choose the extent of the mapping coverage.
