GARMIN TOPO U.S. 2008 microSD/SD Data Cards

The TOPO U.S. 2008 MicroSD (with SD card adapter) Data Card maps are similar to U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000-scale topographic paper maps. Their compact, small size makes it easy to pack light and add maps to your compatible unit. Just plug these cards into your compatible (must accept either microSD or full size SD cards) Garmin GPS, and you're ready for the great outdoors. Loaded with detail, these cards are preloaded with TOPO maps for the regions you choose below.

The TOPO preprogrammed microSD (with SD card adapter) cards contain the same great detail as the Garmin MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 DVD, including terrain contours, elevation information, some trails, summits, rivers, lakes and some roads — perfect for your next recreational outing! However, the mapping data cannot be loaded to a PC so they do not support the elevation shading feature.

MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 is based on United States Geological Survey (USGS) topographic maps. USGS maps are not updated as often as other maps and new construction including streets, highways, buildings etc. may not be as up-to-date as in other MapSource products. TOPO U.S. 2008 MicroSD Data Card maps cannot be installed on a Desktop PC. No additional data can be loaded to these cards.

Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree. In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the latest modifications and/or additions.
