Navigator North America NT 2008 DVD for the Mac

Navigator North America NT for the Mac allows you to download and unlock
detailed street maps and points of interest from the DVD to a Mac
computer*. After the data is downloaded, you can transfer it to your
compatible Garmin GPS device using the new MapInstall
program for the Mac*. The DVD includes premium maps that contain
full coverage of the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico including metropolitan
and rural areas, with turn restrictions, roundabout guidance, speed
categories and other navigation features for highways, interstates,
business and residential roads. It also contains over six million points
of interest to help you find food and drink, lodging, attractions,
entertainment, shopping, emergency services, post offices, gas stations
and more. This product will work with
Garmin NT map-compatible GPS units only and computers running the Mac
operating system* only.

*Mac System Requirements:
Any Intel-based Mac or PowerPC G3 or later Mac, 256 MB RAM, OS X 10.4 or
later, 2GB free disk space, DVD drive, available serial port / USB port,
USB cable, 2GB free disk space, DVD drive, available serial port / USB
port, USB cable, 1024 x 768 display. Internet access is required, cable
and GPS not included.
Note: You cannot use
this product to update the maps on your preloaded Garmin device. To order

Before you can download map detail to a data card or directly to your
compatible Garmin GPS, you must “unlock” the MapSource City Navigator North America
NT 2008 DVD. Simply follow the instructions on the included
certificate to unlock the entire DVD. Next, download the data to a data
card or to your compatible Garmin unit. See Garmin

Note: Cannot be loaded into internal memory of units that came preloaded with
City Navigator or City Select, must be loaded onto memory card (not included) instead to be used in those units.
Coverage
Please Note: To provide its customers
with the most complete and accurate electronic maps achievable at reasonable
cost, Garmin uses a combination of government and private data sources.
Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree.
In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the
latest modifications and/or additions.
