Preloaded MapSource City Navigator NT 2008 Maps

Features include:

• Preloaded maps contain coverage throughout the contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states), Hawaii and Puerto Rico, including metropolitan and rural coverage (no Alaska or Canada detail).
• Includes detailed maps containing highways, interstates, business and residential roads with attributes such as turn restrictions, speed categories and other navigation features 
• Displays millions of points of interest such as:

  • lodging
  • attractions
  • entertainment
  • shopping
  • emergency services
  • post offices
  • camp grounds
  • movie theaters and more
• Will automatically create point-to-point routes in MapSource and the nüvi 200/200W.
• Supplemental coverage of Hawaii provided using unverified governmental sources
• The Garmin nüvi 200/200W comes from the factory PRELOADED with MapSource City Navigator NT for the contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states), Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

The nüvi 200/200W has an open SD Memory card slot that allows other MapSource products to be loaded to an optional SD Memory card or use of Preprogrammed SD memory cards.

City Navigator comes factory preloaded so no computer is required to use the current version. To add other MapSource maps or for future updates of  City Navigator the system requirements are PC compatible computer with USB port and DVD drive and:

System Requirements: PC with Windows 2000 or newer operating system; 32MB RAM minimum; 2 GB free hard disk space; CD-ROM drive for CD versions or DVD drive for DVD versions; available serial and/or USB port, 256 color display adapter and monitor (16- bit color required); and mouse or other pointing device; PC Interface cable, Internet access is recommended.

Please Note: To provide its customers with the most complete and accurate electronic maps achievable at reasonable cost, Garmin uses a combination of government and private data sources. Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree. In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the latest modifications and/or additions.
