3D Views & Fly-thrus New 3D viewing and fly-thru technology. Animated fly-thru feature enables you to fly along a trail you have drawn as it winds and climbs to your destination. Live Map Update gives you the latest maps and roads

Get the latest USGS quad maps, updated roads, and software updates with TOPO!'s new Live Map Update feature. Live Map Update automatically searches your defined area to see if something new is available, and gives you the tools to quickly download new information to replace older maps and roads.

Magellan Triton Series


National Geographic Maps and Magellan have teamed up to bring you the first GPS for the outdoor market that can import National Geographic TOPO! maps. Using TOPO! with your Magellan Triton Series is easy — clip out high-resolution 1:100,000 or 1:24,000 scale maps from the software, along with routes and waypoints, and export them to the Magellan Triton series of handhelds. Maps are viewable in full color at multiple zoom levels on the Triton units.

PC Windows version System Requirements:
PC compatible running Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, NT 4.0 and higher. 486 DX/66 MHz PC or higher.  At least 64 MB RAM and 8 MB of video memory. Works with all color and black & white printers supported by these operating systems.

Mac version System Requirements
Mac OS 10.2 or higher. 350 MHz G3 or better. At least 128 MB RAM and 16 MB of video memory. Works with all color and black & white printers supported by Mac OS 10.

Supported GPS receivers

This product includes scanned United States Geological Survey topographic maps. USGS topographic maps are primarily intended to show topography which rarely changes. The government does not update them very often to show man made changes such as buildings, streets, roads and trails - many USGS map sheets are over 20 years old.
